Innovative Teacher Project Grant
- The Summit Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of our first, annual "Innovative Teacher Projects". Our initial funding of $10,000.00 was made possible by partnering with the F Cubed Foundation. Grants between $500 and $2,500.00 were made available for projects that demonstrated innovation and creativity to achieve academic enrichment. These projects could benefit a classroom, a whole grade or the entire school. The selection committee was charged with discovering projects that offer new and imaginative ways of enriching our student's education. The respective principals and grant recipients have all been notified.
- We received 28 applications, totalling $39,907.00 of requested funding. Seven applications were submitted for a total of (21) Ipads/Ipods, totalling $12,221.00 requested for this technology.
